In the afternoon of June 23, information from the Environmental Police Division (PC49 Department), Ha Tinh Province Police said that the unit had just arrested an illegal transport of wildlife.

Accordingly, at 10pm on June 23, on the Ho Chi Minh trail (in Huong Long commune, Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province), PC49 room, Ha Tinh police arrested Ngo Van Quang (SN) 1993, residing in Dien Thang commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province) while driving a passenger car BKS 37B - 021.12 running from Pac Xe (Laos) to Nghe An carrying a large number of pangolins, turtles and tortoise.

7 individuals were pangolin, of which 1 died

Exhibits collected include: 7 individuals pangolin (including 1 dead) of group 1B - rare and precious species that need protection; 26 turtles and 4 turtles.

At the investigation agency, object Ngo Van Quang said the number of goods was sent by an unknown customer from Laos to Dien Chau for sale.
