Write contest for bear owners: "Give bears a better life"

admin

Bear bile farming has been very common in Vietnam. In 2005, there were more than 4,300 bears in captivity in hundreds of facilities across the country. Over the past 10 years, efforts by authorities, NGOs and the community to end bear bile farming have made significant progress. According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, only 800 bears have been kept in farms across the country, down about 80% compared to 2005. Demand for bear bile use also decreased by more than 60%, period 2009 - 2014 according to the latest ENV survey. This shows that Vietnam is on the right track on the way to end the bear farming activities. However, the fight to protect bears only ends when all bear farms in Vietnam are permanently closed, providing a chance of survival for the remaining bears in the wild and helping the bears to escape danger. muscle hunted and killed for consumption of bear bile and other bear products. To do that, BEAR NEEDS US. Show your interest in this adorable animal and take action to change the perceptions of the community, especially bear owners, to ensure a better future for the bears by participating in a writing competition for bear owners entitled "Give the bears a better life" organized by the Nature Education Center (ENV).

Despite significant achievements in the operation to end bear bile farming in Vietnam, the country still has nearly 800 bears in captivity, many times larger than the number of bears left in captivity. nature. The fate of these bears is very much dependent on the attention and consciousness of the community, especially bear owners.
